How do I maximize the UW Foundation’s match?

When you make a gift to the Great People Scholarship, you will create real change in the lives of promising young people. Gifts can be matched by the University of Wisconsin Foundation – up to a total of $20 million. Gifts to Great People will be matched dollar for dollar. This matching opportunity also applies to named endowment funds of $25,000 or more. Named endowments may be established by individuals and groups who give a total of $25,000 or more within three years. Join others to create a scholarship. Endowment-level gifts directed to a specific school or college also will be matched 50 cents to the dollar.
