“I chose Madison just as much as Madison chose me. I thrive off the competitive academics, variety of student organizations, student life and the wonderful setting of the campus. Because my family is not well off, it was amazing that I was allowed to come to UW-Madison in the first place. Every penny granted to me is that much more of a blessing; each cent is less financial stress on me. As I am individually supporting myself through college, I work hard and count my blessings.
